Sur moi

Currently, I am accepting patients under the mentorship of a didactitian psychoanalyst, a commitment to the ethical requirements of the profession, in a confidential setting

The field of psychoanalysis connects my passion for visual art and writing with my curiosity to explore the subconscious within the mind. I am a registered therapist with the Freudian Federation of Psychoanalysis in Paris, France, where I completed five years of theoretical and clinical training (federationpsychanalyse.fr).

As part of my program, I have undergone a personal and didactical psychoanalysis. My graduate accreditation work focused on the concept of sublimation and its use in the clinical setting. I continue to expand my knowledge in this field through monthly and annual conferences and training, with often a focus on art therapy.

I am fluent in French, English, Spanish and Dutch. Yet I also know what it is to "build a relationship to many cultures while not having full ownership of any" a definition given to third culture kids by Pollock and Van Reken. My childhood was spent in several different countries. Though a French citizen, I am shaped by a multicultural perspective and identity.

After studying law in France, I began my career as a judge. However, I was soon living abroad again, this time with my husband and young family. It felt natural to raise "third culture kids" because I am one. Over the next eighteen years, I lived in Asia and the United States, which provided many opportunities to explore and cultivate my artistic talents.

This diversity of experiences guides me along a personal, intellectual, and creative journey, all of which shape the therapist I am today. I am intuitive yet grounded, and offer an open and nuanced approach to each individual's story.
